Trafficalgar Square in London--with the "statue of the onehandled adulterer" (U , "Aeolus").
I had rather a bit of fun rambling around on the lions (along with all the other tourists). One must always climb on the lions, o yes. Rawr. Relief after being formally scholarly in the Nat'l Gallery et al. Blah blah: climb on lions. Rawr. Useless trivia: never knew one could see "Big Ben" from here. Guess you can. Secondary: no, i do not know why one can see an American flag at the righthand edge there--isn't that Canada House? Maybe that's it. (I  Canada, but anyway.)I believe i took this on my last day in London: because i realized that i hadn't actually been in the square (traffic island) yet. So i went. La la. Pigeons! |
